Casa Yvonneka is a luxurious contemporary downtown Puerto Vallarta vacation rental villa with breathtaking views of the town and bay set in a charming neighborhood within a short walk of the Romantic zone and popular Los Muertos Beach. Every detail has been considered to ensure guests are pampered and completely comfortable, from pillow top mattresses to the elevator, 400 thread count sheets, wireless internet, purified water throughout, Jacuzzi tubs, flat screen TV in all bedrooms, full staff and much more... There are 2 living areas, a spacious terrace by the pool with outdoor dining, multiple terraces and a gym.  Paradise found – from a simple cobblestone street enter thru a massive iron door, walk thru a tropical garden and enter your own private oasis. From the moment you look across the infinity pool with its breathtaking views of town and the bay you know the property has been thoughtfully planned to be your private island of comfort, including everything from luxurious pillow top mattresses and 400 thread count sheets, wireless internet, free long distance telephone, cable and Satellite TV. Amazingly all of this is located within a short walk to popular Los Muertos Beach or all the charm and energy of the romantic zone and downtown. The 17,000 sq. ft villa has an elevator, gym and is fully air conditioned with many luxury details such as: cantera floors, marble baths and kitchens, Jacuzzi tubs in 4 of the bathrooms. There are 2 spacious and completely separate living areas each with a large flat screen TV, a tranquil library/ reading room and many charming terraces and common areas perfect for a large group to be together or have some private time. All bedrooms have private ensuite baths, TV and air conditioning, 7 of the bedrooms have ocean views and 2 look onto yvonnke's private banana plantation. The staff is there to pamper you and the gourmet chef is so fabulous that most guests rarely dine out even with world class restaurants just a few steps away. The setting is the perfect spot to watch the sunset and see the nightly fireworks. BEDROOMS

Not only for the paradise that Vallarta is, but mostly for the place where we stay. Casa Yvonneka is certainly the highlight of our trip! Even though we have stayed at this property before, it keeps getting better. Now, there is a "Starlight lounge", which includes a fun Karaoke, besides the incredible view of the bay. In addition, there is a new "Secret Garden", to one side of the floors, where sunbathing and massages are very private-it can also be used for any smokers. Being a self-proclaimed "Margarita" snob, Casa Yvonneka has possibly the best that we have ever tasted - and we have tasted many many!! The staff at this private villa are always happy to welcome us back and are highly efficient and kind! The meals that are prepared for us,are not only delicious, but healthy too. This Villa is always immaculately clean and centrally located, so that we can always walk into town for shopping, beachtime, local bars, etc. Vallarta continues to be a true Mexican paradise, but Casa Yvonneka is the true "gem" of this lovely paradise! Highly recommended! We are all looking forward to next year's trip back to our "home, away from home"!

The hospitality from the house staff was impeccable! The meals were superb and the attentiveness of the staff to our needs was awe-inspiring. We definitely felt as if this house was ours. The views from the infinity pool, the decor, and the overall ambiance in this beautiful edifice are the epitome of OMG!!!! To add to our memorable experience the owner of this villa called us from abroad to make sure that we were enjoying ourselves and that made the trip priceless! Casa Yvonneka is impeccable!

Date of Stay: 06/09/11 Review Submitted: 06/28/11 My best friend was celebrating a big birthday and decided to host 16 of her gal pals at Casa Yvonneka. It was perfect, perfect, perfect! First, my review of the accomodations. When we arrived, we were welcomed with a cool washcloth and a freshly made margarita! The casa was exactly as (perhaps even better than) the pictures depicted with fabulous views from every room. Open, airy with plenty of room to gather or spread out. Each room was beautifully decorated! Contemporary Mexican decor with amazing color. Bathrooms were spectacular....spacious with large walk in showers or jacuzzi tubs. Tons of closet space in each bedroom which we didn't need but it's worth noting if you're planning an extended stay. There were ceiling fans indoors and out throughout. The pool served as our main gathering area. Loved that the patio chairs were on casters so you could move about freely. There was always plenty of seating. We all brought our IPods and were delighted to have Bose sound systems inside and out! Dinner for 17 was no problem at the fabulous dining table. My only complaint (and it's a minor one) is the gym. It has an eliptical, a bike, and a treadmill which didn't seem to be working. There's little else. No weights, benches, etc. so if you're expecting a good work-out while you're there, you might be disappointed. This place is perfect for large or small groups. Now...about the service. Absolutely fabulous! Magdalena, a lovely woman, and her delightful crew could not have been nicer or more accomodating! They prepared breakfast, snacks and dinner everyday. If there was something we wanted, they got it....always with a smile. They were always available but never, ever in the way. We hardly knew they were there. They made our stay truly memorable. The food was very good. Great breakfasts (fruit, eggs, French toast, juice and great coffee). Mid-day snacks included freshly made guacamole and salsa...best ever! Dinners were basic Mexican fare (fajitas, enchiladas, chile rellenos) but good. Magdalena's tortilla soup was delicious. Fernando made awesome margaritas!! They cleaned our rooms everyday and provided turn down service at night. These people work really hard!! The casa is not near the beach but we were happy to stay at the villa pool. It was Four Seasons service in our own villa. If you have young children and would like to stay here, check to see if they can provide baby gear (cribs, high chairs, etc).
Owner response:am looking into updating the equipment and have placed a request to local trainer for help in this. Malena and the staff are warm, friendly and so accomodating. The meals they prepared for our group were delicious - from the guacamole and fresh salsas served poolside to the chile relleno dinner! YUM! I can't wait to go back!

Accomplished business man - yes; party planner (especially out of his own backyard) - no! Not having privy to anything that had taken place behind the scenes, all I can say is wow wow WOW! My birthday celebration at this gorgeous casa will be a memory I will NEVER forget!!! From the elegant, sunset cocktail hour overlooking the city, bay and infinity pool, complete with margarita/mojito/hibiscus martini bar, to the mouthwatering appetizers and the 4 course prime rib dinner, not a detail was overlooked. The staff were friendly, gracious and accomodating. The service was professional and impeccable. The wine selection paired with our dinner was exquisite. Even details like the flowers, candles, stemware, and linens were gorgeous. And if that wasn't enough the arrangement of the suprise arrival of Vallarta's best Mariachi band, timed with the presentation of a delicious birthday cake from the best bakery and champagne corks popping just put this night over the top! I am still grinning while I write this. Outstanding job!! Heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff at Casayvonneka for an evening I will never forget!

I had coordinated a group trip with friends to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday. Most of us are seasoned travelers and therefore with high travel standards. Fortunately Casa Yvonneka wildly surpassed all of our expectations. We didn't want to come back home! The location is absolutely ideal. Although we were spoiled by the views, the beach and downtown area is only a 10-20 minute walk from the villa. The property is designed extremely well with an open layout, is magnificently decorated, equipped with really cool outdoor night lighting, extremely clean, and comes with exhilarating views of the bay, Old Town and the mountains. The heated infinity pool area is so inviting we spent over half our time here. In fact we canceled many of our excursions because we were so happy at the villa! The staff is attentive, friendly and spectacular. We had plenty of fresh fruits, non-stop fresh guacamole, salsa, margaritas and freshly made drinks, not to mention gourmet dinners. You can order off a menu or just ask the staff to make whatever you want. The staff goes shopping daily and prepares your meals. You will love this paradise!

Dining The meal service includes all shopping, preparation, serving and clean-up for 2 meals per day, either breakfast and lunch or breakfast and dinner. Chef Malena has a complete repertoire from Continental to Mexican and includes Hungarian cuisine Breakfast is served from 8:30 am, dinner on or before 7:30 pm. Lunch can be at anytime. Extra meals service is available. (cost of food and beverages not included). Purified water throughout the house. Sunday service includes: Breakfast or Brunch and a basic housekeeping. Villa Staff Housekeeping, chef service for 2 meals per day, night watchman. Directions Located in the south side of Puerto Vallarta called Alta Vista approximately 20 minutes drive from the airport. Transportation The property does not provide any transportation. They will be happy to call and organize taxi´s or other transportation services for guests at their expense.
